**Job Description** **The Role** The Safety Assurance for Effective Autonomous Driving Software (SAFE-ADS) department is part of the Global Product Safety, System, and Certification (GPSSC) organization at GM. The SAFE-ADS department serves as the central body for automated driving system (ADS) safety and brings together expertise from across the company to establish a comprehensive safety case. GM is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Regulatory Program Manager to lead cross-functional regulatory compliance and engagement programs that support the safe development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of automated driving systems (ADS). This role is focused on broader ADS compliance and regulatory readiness, including regulatory strategy, requirement management, agency engagement support, reporting coordination, milestone planning, risk management, and cross-functional execution. The successful candidate will work closely with Safety, Engineering, Legal, Government Affairs, Operations, and Product teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable workplans, track execution across multiple stakeholders, and help ensure GM is prepared for submissions, inquiries, audits, assessments, and evolving external expectations.
