In this role, you'll help design, build, and scale the systems that power our healthcare platform. You'll work across the stack, collaborate closely with product, operations, and clinical stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our products as we continue to style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software systems that support Humata's healthcare platform</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build and enhance backend services, APIs, workflows, and distributed systems that process healthcare data at scale</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with product managers, designers, clinicians, and other engineers to deliver impactful features and improvements</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drive architectural decisions and contribute to long-term technical strategy</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Improve system performance, reliability, observability, and maintainability</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the organization</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead root cause analysis efforts</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and CI/CD processes</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Mentor and support other engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Help establish and maintain high standards for software quality, security, and compliance</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>📋 Role Requirements</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong experience designing and developing scalable applications and services</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (such as Go, Python, Java, TypeScript, C#, or similar)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building and consuming APIs and distributed systems</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Excellent communication and collaboration skills</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working with healthcare technology, healthcare operations, or regulated industries</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with AI, machine learning, or data-intensive applications</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building observability solutions including logging, monitoring, and tracing</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in healthcare environments</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working in Agile development environments</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Previous
