Event Planning Specialist

<p>Stryker is looking for an experienced, organized, and creative Event Planning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the point person for planning events, conferences, and meetings at Stryker, and ensuring that they run smoothly. We are looking for someone who has strong attention to detail and the ability to think on their feet. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in event planning and management, knowledge of event planning software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be highly organized, have strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask. You should also be able to manage budgets and provide exceptional customer service. Lastly, you must have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with a diverse team of colleagues. Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and execute all events, conferences, and meetings at Stryker. Ensure all events run smoothly and meet the expectations of stakeholders. Manage event budgets and ensure costs are kept within the allocated budget. Manage and utilize event planning software to track details and progress of events. Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders throughout the event planning process. Develop efficient and effective strategies to ensure event success. Remain organized, multitask, and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively with a diverse team of colleagues. Manage and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to provide the best value for Stryker.
