Executive Pastry Chef

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Pastry Chef based in Gurugram. The Executive Pastry Chef will do the preparation and presentation of a variety of pastry items, desserts, and baked goods. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-quality standards for recipes, managing kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and collaborating on menu innovation. The role involves inventory management, training team members, and ensuring efficient operations within the pastry section of the kitchen. Qualifications Expertise in Baking, Pastry Arts, and overall Culinary Skills Solid experience in Bakery and Food Preparation Experience in croissants, viennoiserie, fine pastries and celebration cakes for birthday and special occasions. Prepare a wide range of desserts, pastries, mousses, breads & baked goods. Skilled in a pastry preparation, decoration and plating. Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to innovate with recipes and presentations Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Formal culinary or pastry training and certification is highly preferred Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and management
