URBN Playground focuses on designing and delivering experiences, lifestyles, and moments that build connection and community – within cities, neighborhoods, and buildings.<br><br>SPA & AMENITY MANAGER OPPORTUNITY!<br><br>Starting salary of $65-75k annually, based on experience, with full health benefits packages, paid time off, paid sick time, commuter benefits, and more!<br><br><strong>What Sets You Apart For This Opportunity<br><br></strong>You must have a strong background in the spa industry and massage therapy, embodying the entrepreneurial drive needed to expand and elevate our massage services across our entire portfolio.<br><br>Your proactive and self-motivated nature shines through your readiness to identify and capitalize on business development and service enhancement opportunities.<br><br>Your ability to build a client book and your capability to fuel a referral-based business demonstrates your influence and networking skills in the industry.<br><br>You are preferably a licensed massage therapist or esthetician, and your proficiency in delivering high-quality services is a significant asset.<br><br><strong>Your Mission As Spa & Amenity Manager<br><br></strong>Deliver amazing customer service by having a hospitality-focused, customer-first mindset.<br><br>Manage the on-site spa, maintain the area, and work with residents to schedule appointments.<br><br>Supervise and manage spa, front desk, fitness, concierge, pool, package room, and porter team members.<br><br>Onboard and train team members, and provide ongoing coaching and proactive feedback.<br><br>Utilize and market the company's app technology to increase customer awareness, usage of our programs, events, and ancillary sales. Coach team members to understand and market the application.<br><br>Promote and sell amenity memberships, fitness packages, event tickets, and services on the app.<br><br>Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to according to law.<br><br>Your role is crucial not only in enhancing the lives of the customers within the property, but in improving the attractiveness and value of the property and/or membership packages offered by the property.<br><br>Be the face of URBN Playground for all customer questions, concerns and needs.<br><br><strong>You’re Good At<br><br></strong>Interacting with people<br><br>Getting things done<br><br>Negotiating with and managing people to get things done<br><br>Scheduling and sending important reminders<br><br>Using proprietary technology systems and software<br><br>Customer service and proactive hospitality<br><br>Promoting services and partnerships<br><br>Creating and managing budgets<br><br>Noticing the little details and taking action to improve<br><br>Using sound judgment to make decisions independently<br><br>Dealing with challenging situations and responding to emergencies<br><br>Being accountable and taking responsibility<br><br>Handling phone calls and emails in a professional and efficient manner<br><br>Building relationships with and coaching team members to maintain smooth operations<br><br><strong>You Need<br><br></strong>A college degree, or equivalent related work experience<br><br>Several years work experience in spa, amenity management, or hospitality industries, or similar<br><br>Be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within three months of employment<br><br>Prior experience in managing people and work schedules<br><br>Massage Therapy certification is strongly preferred<br><br>A great sense of humor and sense of fun!<br><br><strong>Brownie Points For<br><br></strong>Prior experience in marketing or sales-related jobs<br><br>Familiar with property manager software<br><br>Fitness, pool, or hotel-related certification<br><br><strong>Additional Language Skills<br><br></strong>Come join a great team with a great company mission!
