Controller

<p>Position Summary</p><p>The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and financial reporting for a manufacturing organization. This role ensures the accuracy of financial statements, supports operational decision-making, and maintains strong internal controls while partnering closely with production, supply chain, and leadership teams.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Financial Management & Reporting</p><p>Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes</p><p>Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)</p><p>Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies</p><p>Develop and maintain financial reporting packages for leadership</p><p>Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance</p><p>Oversee standard costing, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory valuation</p><p>Analyze production costs, labor, overhead, and variances</p><p>Partner with operations to improve cost efficiency and margins</p><p>Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle counts/physical inventories</p><p>Budgeting & Forecasting</p><p>Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes</p><p>Track performance against budget and provide variance analysis</p><p>Deliver insights to support strategic and operational decisions</p><p>Internal Controls & Compliance</p><p>Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets</p><p>Ensure compliance with audit requirements, tax regulations, and company policies</p><p>Coordinate external audits and support regulatory reporting</p><p>Leadership & Cross-Functional Support</p><p>Supervise and develop accounting team members</p><p>Collaborate with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams</p><p>Provide financial insights to support production planning and capital investments</p><p>Qualifications</p><p>Education & Experience</p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)</p><p>5–10+ years of accounting experience, including manufacturing environment</p><p>Prior experience in cost accounting strongly preferred</p><p>Leadership or team management experience</p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Permanent position based out of Delavan, WI.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $62.50/hr.</p><p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
