In this role, you will be the primary liaison to strategic advisor and consultant firms.  You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to achieve sales and retention goals with the advisor firms you cover. In addition, you will have a multifaceted understanding of key contacts, how they market themselves, market segments targeted, their business operations and alignment with Lincoln’s value proposition. You will direct the overall relationships within your assigned firms in partnership with external wholesalers and client service teams. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What you'll be doing</b></h2> </div><div><p>•    Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Lincoln Financial Group (LFG) products, services and operational structure to enhance ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities<br>•    Develop business on behalf of the LFG in a manner that supports a positive company image, in compliance with all required rules and regulations and ethical in all considerations<br>•    Build and maintain strong business relationships with key sales clients to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, targets, or objectives <br>•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to propose placement of additional Lincoln products in existing client book of business <br>•    Proactive outreach to potential customers from internal leads or generated by marketing activity<br>•    Serve as a resource to internal and external parties while developing and maintaining collaborative relationships to achieve sales objectives<br>•    Capture and maintain sales call data in appropriate systems and/or completes sales reports<br>•    Develop a multifaceted understanding of the advisor firms you cover and alignment with Lincoln’s value proposition to achieve sales and retention goals<br>•    Support growth in all segments of Lincoln's products/service offerings to maximize and capitalize on the opportunities to grow Lincoln’s scope of business with the firms you cover <br>•    Ensure any potential conflicts regarding Lincoln's products/services are resolved<br>•    Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assess the impact, and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What we’re looking for</b></h2> </div><div><ul> <li>5  -7+ Years’ of relevant experience in consultant relations or national account management within retirement plans, aligned with the responsibilities of the role</li> <li>4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)</li> <li>Demonstrates advanced relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues) and external clients; proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches</li> <li>Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations</li> <li>FINRA S6, S63 and LH & VA licenses obtained within 90 days of hire</li> <li>Ability to travel domestically, up to 50%</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Application Deadline</h2> </div><div><p>Applications for this position will be accepted through June 26th, 2026, subject to earlier closure due to applicant volume</p></div></div></div><p> </p> <p><strong>What’s it like to work here?</strong></p> <p>At Lincoln Financial, we love what we do. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
