Join us at the forefront of cell therapy innovation and help redefine what’s possible.</p> <p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p> <p>Kyverna is seeking a dynamic Head of Field Market Access to lead the field market access organization, calling on payers and Treatment Centers.  The Senior Director, Field Market Access is a field-based strategic people leader responsible for driving appropriate access and coverage for Kyverna’s portfolio across payers and Cellular Therapy Treatment Centers. This is a high-impact commercial leadership role at the forefront of transforming access to cellular therapy for patients with autoimmune diseases.</p> <p>The Senior Director will initially serve as a player/coach and eventually lead a team responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with state Medicaid payers, MACs, national, and regional payers to ensure coverage and reimbursement for Kyverna’s therapies.  The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of people leadership of field market access teams, payer engagement and strategic account management.</p> <p><br><strong>Department:</strong> Commercial<br><strong>Location:</strong> Remote eligible<br><strong>Reports To:</strong>  VP, Global Market Access<br><strong>Travel: </strong>Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time/as needed.</p> <p></p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>Responsibilities</b><div> <ul> <li>Serve as a subject matter expert on local payers (Medicaid and commercial), including payer needs, policy shifts, and contracting opportunities.</li> <li>Help team build and execute account-specific business plans in alignment with Kyverna’s broader market access and brand strategies.</li> <li>Responsible for all market access and reimbursement stakeholder field engagement for assigned accounts (payer and Treatment Center).</li> <li>Responsible for delivering compelling value propositions and payer materials customized to each stakeholder’s needs.</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with other field leadership, including Medical Science Liaisons and Key Account Management teams, especially for Treatment Center engagement.</li> <li>Track and report market trends, competitive intelligence, policy changes, and access barriers across the commercial self-insured and Medicare landscapes.</li> <li>Collaborate on the development of performance KPIs and metrics to evaluate access success and account performance.</li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Qualifications</b><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.</li> <li>12+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with 10+ years in market access, including field and / or strategy roles.</li> <li>5+ years of people leadership experience.</li> <li>Rare disease or oncology cellular therapy experience required; buy & bill experience required.</li> <li>Cell or Gene Therapy experience preferred.</li> <li>Deep understanding of: <ul style="list-style-type: circle;"> <li>Commercial payers (national and regional) and approach to medical policy decision-making.</li> <li>Medicaid policy development</li> <li>CMS protocols and applications (NTAP,DRG, Q/J-code, etc.)</li> <li>Reimbursement and patient pull-through</li> <li>Coding and billing requirements</li> <li>P&T process for high cost drug therapies</li> </ul> </li> <li>Demonstrated success in building and managing relationships with payers and financial decision-makers in Treatment Centers.</li> <li>Proven record of existing relationships with payers and financial decision-makers.</li> <li>Strategic thinking with a collaborative mindset and ability to influence cross-functional teams, with unique persistence in driving patient access to complex medicines.</li> <li>Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.</li> <li>Proficiency with CRM/COS systems, PowerPoint, and Excel.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p><p><br></p><p></p> <p>The national salary range for this position is from $275,000 to $295,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this posted position, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation individual education, experience, tenure, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  This position is also eligible for bonus, benefits, and participation in Company’s stock plan.</p>
